Prenatal Care
Chiropractic care during pregnancy plays an important role in preparing the female body for the beautiful process of birth. Creating balance in the spine and pelvis helps to alleviate the aches and pains that can be brought on by pregnancy and help create a healthy environment for baby to grow. Webster’s Technique is a specific sacral adjustment that helps reduce the interference on the nervous system; specifically, in the sacroiliac joint in the pelvis. This technique also includes the gentle release of the muscles and ligaments surrounding the pelvis to decrease discomfort and aid in optimal fetal positioning. Chiropractic care can ease the discomfort that can accompany the rapid changes of pregnancy and can empower women to have the birth they desire.
Pediatric Care
Birth can be just as physically demanding on baby as it is on the mother. The force that is placed on baby during the birthing process can lead to misalignments of the spine and if these misalignments are not corrected they can lead to larger issues as the infant continues to grow.
